In the beginning of 2018, we decided to embark on a tough journey to climb the World’s Highest Volcano and raise funds for Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped (SAVH). The goal of this campaign was not really monetary, we wanted to raise as much awareness as possible about the plights of the visually handicapped.
We spend time at SAVH understanding their daily struggles and spoke about it on national tv as well as on social media and on various press publications.
We also raised a sum of approximately $15 000 in just a 1.5 months.
Unfortunately due to a mishap up high at 6000m on a training climb, we could not complete the full expedition to the top of the World’s Highest Volcano. But we are not laying back, we will definitely bring victory to the ears of our blind friends at SAVH real soon.
