The Highest Volcano in Asia: Mt Damavand, Iran

 

Located in the middle of the Alborz range, Damavand stands at 5610m, 18 400 feet. With an active vent that still releases sulphuric gases and a magnificent glacier that demands a traverse, this volcano is a true beauty. 

 

We summitted Mt Damavand in June, 2015. 

The Highest Volcano in North America: Pico De Orizaba, Mexico

 

With steep slopes that has ended the dreams of many mountaineers, Pico De Orizaba stands tall at 5660m, 18 569 feet.

The Highest Volcano in Oceania: Mt Giluwe, Papua New Guinea

 

An extremely elusive mountain that is far away from any civilisation, very few people have ventured to climb Mt Giluwe. It takes a day or 2 trek from the last civilised village to even spot the mountain that stands at 4367m, 14 327 feet. 

 

We summitted Mt Giluwe in July, 2016.

The Highest Volcano in Europe: Mt Elbrus, Russia

 

Also the highest mountain in all of Europe, this ice & snow palace is 5642m, 18 510 feet tall. With extreme weather alterations, climbing Elbrus requires a combination of skill and luck. 

 

We summitted Mt Elbrus in July 2017. 

The Highest Volcano in Africa: Mt Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

 

Also known as the roof of Africa, Kilimanjaro is the highest point in the African continent. A long trek without any technical complications, Kilimanjaro is a feast to the eyes with 4 different ecological zones in one trek. 

 

We summitted Mt Kilimanjaro in August 2018. 

The Highest Volcano in South America: Ojos Del Salado, Chile

 

Ojos is the highest volcano in the world. With extreme weather conditions and an environment with very strong winds, the 6893m, 22 614 feet tall beast is a hard one to conquer.

 

We aim to attempt Ojos Del Salado next in 2018/19. 

The Highest Volcano in Antarctica : Mt Sidley

 

One of the most remote places in the world, only a handful have climbed Mt Sidley. Extremely unaccessible with inhospitable conditions, the 4285m, 14 058 feet mountain is definitely an elusive climb.
